Evening of Parental Prayer. “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Parents could use encouragement on an ongoing basis, especially those whose children are grown and live outside the home. It is not unusual that a parent may feel distressed and helpless concerning the direction of their children’s lives and are not able to express that to their children. We want to provide a time in which parents do not feel isolated and are encouraged by one another through prayer and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Parents are invited to meet on Monday evening, March 7th at 7:00 PM in the OMR for a time of support and sharing (if you would like to do so) and closing prayer for our children. This is a pastoral time of prayer and issues discussed during our time together will be confidential. We will continue to meet monthly during Lent. If you have any questions please contact Fr. Don.
