New Hearing Assistance System.  We now have an additional hearing assist system in place. For those with smart phones and Bluetooth hearing aids you can use the system directly on your phone. If you do not have Bluetooth hearing aids but you do have a smart phone you can use your phone with a wired or wireless headset using the Wavecast app.  Further instructions may be found in the back of the church.

The Parables of Jesus.  Beginning in November, our Adult Sunday School class will focus on the parables of Jesus.  Luke’s Gospel has 24 parables; Mathew has 23; Mark and 8 and John has none. This is a major portion of the teaching of Jesus that offer tremendous insights into the Christian faith and life.  In many ways, the parables are just as powerful today as they were in the first century.  The parables are a fulfillment of prophecy, they reveal truth, they conceal truth, they illustrate truth, they are practical and relevant, they catch your attention, they are easy to remember and they expose our heart. Join us for this enriching study on Sunday in the main church beginning at 9:15 am.

Light Up November.  We are so excited to announce our monthly youth events are back!!  Middle and high school students will meet in the youth room tonight at 6:00 pm., and then we will gather around the firepit for Bible study and fellowship!  We will observe strict safety protocols for our outdoor gatherings.  We will provide a temperature check and plenty of hand sanitizer.  If you or your child feels ill, please stay home.

This is the final week for Operation Christmas Child!  Our Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox campaign is in its last week already. Stop by TGP after church to take a look at the display and pick up your shoebox; though they are due TODAY, please email ASACshoeboxes@gmail.com if you need to drop off sometime the following week and we can make arrangements.

Monetary Food Drive Results. THANK YOU!  THANK YOU! THANK YOU!  Because of you generous hearts, donations in the amount of $1,340 were received for the monetary food drive for Fayette Samaritans and Real Life Center.  These funds will be used to purchase, at a discount, critical food items for client families.  While many still continue to donated to these organizations, both are suffering financially due to the impacts of the pandemic.  Both missions continue during this time to provide food to needy families with drive through service.  Thank you again for your kindness and care for those less fortunate than ourselves.  What a blessing it is to be part of this generous body of Christ known as All Saints.

Real Life Center.  Attention Bakers - All Saints will be supporting the Real Life Center’s ThanksLiving online auction this November with pies and cakes.  Please let Lori Overson know if you would be interested in making one or two of the pies or cakes:  2 Apple; 2 Pumpkin; 2 Pecan; 2 Bundt Cake/or Frosted Cake (rum cake okay).  The cakes and pies will need to be at the church by Saturday, November 14. We will also be taking pre-orders for pies and cakes from our congregation. The sign-up sheets are located in the narthex. The pre-orders will be available for pick-up at church on Sunday, the 15th of November. We need bakers for this as well.  Thank you!!

Stewardship.  Open your hand, it’s much easier to receive the gifts of God.  …Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35  Please turn in your pledge card to assist your Vestry.
